He’s known for stepping up to the occasion, and with Monday nights primetime game in his sights, receiver Antonio Brown is doubtful to start for the Steelers and that would be a huge blow for a team hell bent on another crunching win.
He was left out of practice on Friday and Saturday and we are told Brown is suffering from a toe injury.
The Steelers have quite the list when it comes to players out for the game, cornerback Joe Haden (fibular), tight end Vance McDonald with an ankle injury, and safety Mike Mitchell is listed as doubtful due to an ongoing ankle problem
But it’s not all doom and gloom, JuJu Smith Schuster is now off the IR after being left out of a few games due to a dodgy hamstring.
If the Steelers are without Antonio Brown on Monday night you can guarantee that Le’Veon Bell will be picking up the slack in both the running and receiving department. Bell with also have solid support from the likes of Martavis Bryant and Eli Rogers.
For the Steelers who are sitting at 9-2, the more weapons in their arsenal the better, and with players like linebacker Ryan Shazier coming off IR this week, this is a squad to be feared come post season.
