Manchester United are reported to have no interest in hijacking Chelsea’s bid for Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko. The 22-year-old is rumoured to be one of Chelsea’s main transfer targets, and is currently valued at around £40 million.

After losing out on Romelu Lukaku Chelsea fans were furious to hear that Manchester United were attempting to steal another of their key summer targets, but according to inside sources, United have absolutely no interest in signing the France international.

If Bakayoko does decided to join Chelsea he will become the club’s third signing of the summer, following goalkeeper Willy Caballero and former Roma man Antonio Rudiger.

Manchester United are yet to add to their midfield this summer, but are reported to have made offers for both Eric Dier and Nemanja Matic. Should they sign Bakayoko, Chelsea may consider selling Matic, but are reluctant to allow the Serbian to join one of their closest Premier League rivals.
