Veteran wide receiver Anquan Boldin has joined the Buffalo Bills on a one-year deal. Boldin will accompany Sammy Watkins and youngster Zay Jones as potential options for QB Tyrod Taylor, who is due to return from injury this week.
Anquan Boldin has enjoyed 14 seasons in the NFL since signing for the Arizona Cardinals back in 2003. Over the course of his illustrious career, Boldin has won 3X Pro Bowls, the Walter Peyton NFL Man of the Year, a NFL Rookie of the Year award, and lets not forget his performance at Super Bowl XLVII.
Boldin spent the 2016 at the Detroit Lions, and at 36 years of age (37 in October) the Florida native still feels that he has plenty to offer in the NFL.
Bills GM Brandon Beane said of Boldin: “I think our receiving room is fairly young still. Not only is he going to help those guys show what it takes on the field, in the meeting rooms, in the training room, how to eat right. I mean, you name it, he’s done it.”
